November is National Family Caregiver Month. I know, November is almost over. It already feels like it’s December with the sights and sounds of Christmas everywhere, but it’s never too late to honor that special caregiver in your life.
I wrote this post for Care Keepers, Inc. earlier this month. Care Keepers is focused on caring for the caregiver. What a wonderful concept. You may have read some of the other posts have written for Care Keepers, but this one was probably the most fun and the most special to write.
I hope you will take the time to click on the link below to read my post along with a printable copy of the ABCs of Caregiving. Present it to a loved one who is a caregiver or hang it on your own refrigerator for inspiration and strength.
This post is dedicated to all the caregivers out there, but I wrote it with specific caregivers who are near and dear to my heart in mind. My aunt and uncle (you know who you are, but I don’t use names of family in my posts!) cared for one aging family member after another in their home for years. The other caregiver is my grandmother who is currently caring for my grandfather. Her patience and strength adds a #11 to the list of 10 Things I Learned From My Grandparents’ 60-Year Marriage.
